CURLFEST returned after a three year hiatus on July 15th to Randall’s Island where the attendees happily received their return as they came out in large numbers to support the event that promotes natural beauty and skin care.
There were thousands and thousands of attendees from all cultures that came out to enjoy themselves to free hair care samples, live music, beauty talks, games and prizes.
Everyone was fashionable, colorful, and authentically happy to be in a space that truly celebrated them.
As stated by the founders “We are bringing the festival back in 2023, and Bouncing Back the right way! We’re taking it back to our roots and focusing on the reason we do this —WE DO THIS FOR US, OUR COMMUNITY! This year, we’ve cultivated an exclusive list of beauty brands, surprise performers, and we’re highlighting up to 100 small, black businesses to kick off our big return!”
