Diarra From Detroit on BET+ March 2024

Diarra from Detroit premiered at the 2023 Tribeca Film Festival. The entire cast was there to support the film on the Red Carpet at SVA Theater in New York City.

Diarra from Detroit was picked up by a deal made with Diarra Kilpatrick and BET. The film was ordered by BET+, in which it received eight one hour long series episodes that will premiere in March of 2024.

The highly anticipated series is a dark comedy about a divorcing school teacher who refuses to believe she’s been ghosted by her rebound Tinder date. Her search for the missing man pulls her into a decades-old mystery involving the Detroit underworld. As the case unfolds, her co-workers, friends, and lovers become unlikely allies as she falls down a dangerous rabbit hole.
