Honeyjoon Wins AT&T Untold Stories Competition

This competition was held at Spring Studios for the 2024 Tribeca Festival, with a highly acclaimed panel of jurors including Cynthia Erivo, Daveed Diggs, Yvette Nicole Brown, and Tanya Saracho.
Together these judges used a specific criteria to rate the film competitors for their chance to win $1M. The winner of the UnTold Stories competition was filmmaker Lilian T. Mehrel.
The jurors awarded filmmaker Lilian T. Mehrel with $1M funding and valuable mentorship to produce her feature film, “Honeyjoon,”
“Honeyjoon” will premiere at next year’s Tribeca Festival.
