Indeed and Lena Waithe Celebrate Ten Talented Rising Voices

Ten talented emerging filmmakers realized their dreams last night at the TriBeCa Film Festival in New York City all because of the world’s #1 job site Indeed, Lena Waithe, and Hellman Grad Productions believed in them.

The ‘Rising Voices’ initiative showcased the power of how jobs change the world, by uncovering, investing and sharing stories created by Black, Indigenous and People of Color (BIPOC). These filmmakers received more than $100,000 to bring their visions and imaginations to the big screen. In addition, one lucky filmmaker will receive $75,000 to create new work for Indeed.

The event was star-studded with Lena Waithe & Cynthia Erivo in attendance. And of course the lucky and talented filmmakers were present to shine their light and present their films:
